

Carole Dorothy Kaminske, nee Zoellick, born Dec. 8, 1937, in Chicago to George Carl Zoellick, Sr. and his wife Dorothy Wilhelmina, nee Brauer.was baptized on January 9,1938 and confirmed March 18, 1951. Carole is sister to George C. Zoellick, Jr. (June Ellen), Aunt to Pamela Jill Hene, nee Zoellick, deceased; Heather Joy Zoellick, Wheaton, Il., and Brad Carl Zoellick, Los Angeles, CA. Great Aunt to Erich Carl Hene, Downers Grove, Il.
Carole graduated from Nazareth Lutheran Elementary in 1951 and Luther High School South in 1955.
After graduation, she became a secretary, then bookkeeper. She spent much of her career as a secretary at Bethlehem Steel where she showcased her skills for organization and attention to detail.
Carole was very active in the Lutheran adult group, Koinia, and while doing a mission project, she met her husband David Kaminske. They married on June 20, 1971 and lived in Westchester. In 2005 they moved to Spring Hill, Florida. In late 2019 they decided to return to family and friends in Illinois and lived at Heartis Senior Living.
Throughout her life Carole has always been active in music starting with piano then organ lessons which led to playing the organ in many churches. She also played hand bells and sang in many choirs.
Carole celebrated her 83rd birthday on Dec. 8, 2020 in the presence of her Lord and Savior.
Due to Covid-19, her wake and funeral will be limited in number. The service, led by Rev. Raymond Rohlfs, Christ Lutheran, Orland Park, will be held Monday, Dec. 14 at 10:30 am and will be streamed live from Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, Oak Lawn, IL.
