Mr. David Gunther

David Kent Gunther, lifelong resident of Oak Lawn, IL, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018 from a massive stroke at the age of 83.

Dave was born in Evergreen Park, IL on February 22, 1935 to parents, Barney and Margaret Gunther; graduated from The Community High School District 218, now known as Eisenhower High School, in 1953. He later worked for many years as an operating engineer for Michael Reese Hospital until it's closing in 2009.

Dave was an avid marksman and outdoorsman, sport pilot, accomplished photographer and possessed a dry wit and easy smile. He was a devoted friend to many, especially his beloved Mom and Dad.

Dave will be remembered with gratitude as a strong, generous and loving man and a dear, dear friend. He is deeply missed.

I am a cousin of David’s . We have the same Grandmother. We were not notified that David had passed. If you are the person who has the power of attorney please contact me as I would like to know where his remains are intermed.Also there were pictures on the wall in his living room of my Dad and his Dad that I would like to have if they have not been destroyed.please contact me at5053792048 Thank You
