Dolores "Dee" Menconi was a beloved daughter, wife, sister, niece, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She touched the lives of so many and was deeply loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Dee found her greatest joy in her family and the simple pleasures of life. She loved ice cream, warm weather, and, of course, her beloved Chicago Bears. Her love for her family was endless, and the memories she created with those closest to her will be cherished forever.
Even in her final days, despite the pain she endured, Dee continued to share her love and beautiful smile with her family. Her strength, warmth, and loving spirit remained with her until the very end.
While our hearts are heavy with sadness, we find comfort in knowing that Dee is now at peace, reunited with the family and friends who went before her.
And knowing Dee and her love for the Chicago Bears, we can only imagine that when "Da Coach," Mike Ditka, arrived in heaven, she was among the first to welcome him with a smile.
Dee will be forever loved, deeply missed, and always remembered.
