

Born on January 22, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois, Donald was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 68 years, Renee Voss.
Donald graduated from DeVry Technical Institute in 1963 and went on to have a fulfilling career at Argonne National Laboratory, where he eventually retired. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, attaining the rank of Corporal.
Donald had many interests and hobbies that brought him joy throughout his life. He was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan and was a longtime treasurer at Homewood Full Gospel Church and Ashburn Baptist Church. He especially enjoyed working on cars, computers, and all types of electronics. His curiosity and love of fixing and building things were a meaningful part of who he was.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Voss and Florence (nee Dykstra) Voss; his stepmother, Cora Voss; and his brother, Melvin Voss.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Renee Voss; his son, Scott Voss (Suzi); and his granddaughters, Amanda Voss and Kaitlyn Voss.
Donald will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Interment will be private at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home & Cemetery, Oak Lawn, IL.
