Jackie, I am so sorry for your loss-your Mother was such a memorable person to me, and I am grateful I had the chance to get to know her. I hope I can share more "Dorothy" memories with you sometime soon.

Diane, Jackie, Joan and family, I was sorry to hear of your Mom and your sister's passing. She was such a wonderful lady. Always had so much fun chatting with her at Dr. Scanlon's office. She, Jamie and I went out several years ago for dinner and all we did was laugh! I just enjoyed her and her stories so much. She will be missed. I will keep her and all of you in my prayers.

Dorothy was a wonderful friend and coworker in the Main Office at Lourdes High School in Chicago.  She was a real "people" person who loved interacting with the students, and they benefited daily from her positive attitude and genuine interest in their lives.  Dorothy was a strong and independent woman who loved life, cherished her family, and who was steadfast and loyal to all her friends.  I am so glad that I had the privilege of knowing her!  I will miss her.

I'm so very sorry about your mom and wish I could be there tomorrow.  I do have a previous commitment.  I feel so bad that we lost touch after the Douglas days, but I think of her every time I make her Broccoli Casserole and Lazy Pierogi.  They are family favorites.  I'll always remember her as Ma Douglas.  Please accept my condolences.

My wonderful, funny cousin has left us for a better life.  I will always miss her and pray for her.

My Mom went to school with your mom.  They were good friends.  Sally (Marilyn) Stengle is my mom.  I (Lori Stengle) met your mom. Most recently saw her maybe 2 years ago. I dropped mom off to visit.  Your mom was awesome!  Mom and me cried when we heard.  I will miss her and I know mom will very very much. They talked all the time....she loved her very much.  What a wonderful woman!
