She had a laugh like no one else's ever. The sparkle in her eyes had a warmth that invited you in and made you love her the moment you met her. She was open hearted and generous. She loved to entertain and would put together the greatest parties and 4th of July celebrations that will be held as precious memories in my heart forever. She took pride in her home, loved to decorate it and made it a comfortable and relaxing place to be. She loved and protected her family with a fierceness of a mother lion. She was a dutiful and loving daughter who took the utmost best of care of her own Mother who was her best friend.

This is how I will always remember my friend Gale. Your spirit and love will live on. Your earthly woes have been left behind and may you rest in peace in the comfort of the Lord.

With love to Hank, Joe, Dan and April.

Mrs. Galvan has known me since 1986 and she was always a happy and involved mom to April and her brother's. I last saw Mrs. Galvan in 2012 in a grocery store in 83rd and Harlem ave. She gave me a big hug and told me how beautiful I grew up to be. She was always kind and sweet to me and welcomed me into her home during my kindergarten, 7th, & 8th grade years!! You will be missed Mrs. Galvan!! Love Pamela
