Dear Cousins & Families,

It's so sad to see the last of the Koning brothers leave this earth, but I'm so sure all of them will be having a great party when they are reunited! I remember all our family gatherings. So much fun! And lots of pipe smoking! LOL!

Miss all those who have already gone.

Condolences to all.
Tom & Jackie Sharkey.

From the Netherlands we all want to condole you for the loss of your father, father-in-law, grandfather and uncle. An age of 98 is a blessed age. We were able to visit him 11 years ago when we were on vacation in the USA. He was lying in bed there and could not walk anymore. That was very sad to see. Uncle Henny is the last of the 6 brothers.
I remember him from the past in Zanneweer as a happy uncle. May God rest his soul in peace!
Henk and Amai Koning, Den Haag, The Netherlands

Whenever I’d come to meet Marty at the house, Pa would either be in the garden or garage, and he’d always greet me by saying “Hey, young feller”. He often sat on the shaded patio on nice summer afternoons and puff on his pipe while he took a break from his work. Moe & Pa would always have windmill cookies for a snack, and would always welcome me to their table for a meal of soup, green beans, potatoes, & small side of spam. 😀❤️
