A Master Carpenter by trade and a fisherman at heart, Henry was known for his skilled hands and generous spirit. He shared 58 beautiful years of marriage with his late wife, Shirley, whom he married on February 7, 1953. Together, they built a life defined by strength, humor, and devotion to family.
He is survived by his children, Sandra (David) Perkins, David (Louise) Mueller, Paul (Joy) Mueller, and Melissa (Michael) Connors; 13 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley, and his daughter, Susan A. McClellan.
Memorial service will be held on December 29, 2025, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 South Central Ave, Oak Lawn, IL.
A chapel service will follow at 1:00 pm.
