Iris M. Karas, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2019. Iris was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 2, 1936. She married Ronald Karas on September 23, 1978.

Survived by her loving husband Ronald, his children Debra (the late Jim) Lewis, Cynthia (John) Young and Ronald Jr. (Julie) Karas; grandchildren Jimmy and Tony Lewis, Genevieve Labanauskas (Mike) and Megan Karas; great-grandmother of Damian, Gabriel, Austin and Rylen.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cancer Foundation in Iris’ honor.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 12:00 PM until time of chapel service at 2:00 PM at Chapel Hill Gardens South, 11333 S. Central Avenue, Oak Lawn, IL 60453 (708) 636-1200.

Iris has been apart of my family for 50+ yrs. Even though she wasn't our blood relative it really didn't matter we still loved her and treated her as if she was!
Iris will be forever in our hearts & memories❣️
