James Edward Reitz, age 85, of Bridgeview, Illinois passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022. Beloved husband of Margaret; loving father of Robert (Frank Smutka Jr.) & James Reitz, Sherry (Stanley) Babb and Tina (Steve) Parson; cherished grandfather of Lisa (Brian) Hecimovich, Vicky Reitz, Timothy (Amy) Babb, Michael (Kayleigh) Parson, Anna (Zach) Caldwell and great grandfather of Evie Hecimovich, Alexander Robert E., Sarah & Hannah Babb and Maxwell James Parson; dear brother of Patricia Boarders and Jack Reitz; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for James will be held Monday, October 17, 2022 from 11:30 AM until services at 1:30 PM at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 South Central Ave, Oak Lawn, IL 60453. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery.
