Jewell was a treasure. She called me almost every Sunday for a number of years. Seeing her phone number made my day. We talked politics and what was on Nightline. No matter where I moved she sent a birthday card and Christmas card. I’m happy I was able to see her last September. She is missed and loved.

My Deepest Sympathy to the Minor Family.
Jewell was a long time client of ours at Kusay Tax Service. I will miss her sweet voice on the phone and our once a year tax appointment.
Jewell would occasionally call just to chat, I know she missed her husband dearly and was very proud of her family.
Rest In Peace, Jewell

My Grandmother never failed to greet you with a big hug and a kiss. She always called me her name sake in the sweetest voice. Her smile and her beauty could always light up the whole room instantly.
There are so many things that I could say about you, but the list will go on for ever and will never end. You are the most incredible human being I have ever met. You have always bragged about me. Now, it is my time to brag about you. Your life was full of joy, laughter, and amazing moments. There was never a dull moment when my Grandmother had your attention.
Thank you for your sacrifices, your care and concern, your love and everything that you have done for me. I know you are in a much better place. I will be forever grateful and thankful that you are my 'grandmother' AKA big Jewell. Rest in Peace Grandma we love and miss you so much.

Jewel Minor was my aunt. She was a remarkable woman who I always look forward to seeing her at my house or one of our long talks on the phone. She brought joy wherever she went. My family and I celebrated so many events and celebrations with my Aunt Jewel over the years with my uncle Booker T. Minor Jr. She was compassionate and always a great person to go to for advice. My world was a better place because she was in it.
My sincere condolences to her son, David Minor who she loved dearly and his wife Darlene and all of her grandchildren.
She is now in heaven joined together with (Bo) her husband in their everlasting love.
Myself her niece Sonija and nephew Gregory, she will always be in our hearts forever.
