Mark Emil Vlaisavich

Mark Emil Vlaisavich, age 68, passed away on February 24, 2026. Born on June 26, 1957, to Emil and Joan (née Erdelan) Vlaisavich, Mark was a longtime resident of Orland Park, IL, and moved to Huntley, Illinois in 2023.

Mark was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janice (née Rigoni), and his father, Emil. He is survived by his loving son, Brian Vlaisavich; his mother, Joan Vlaisavich; his dear sisters, Sandy Otto and Sharon (Gary) Rietz; and his cherished nieces and nephew, Christopher Rigoni, Sara Otto, and Emily Otto. He will also be deeply missed by many extended family members and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on March 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 South Central Avenue, Oak Lawn, Illinois. Burial will immediately follow at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Mark’s memory through a donation to the American Heart Association or the Pancreatic Cancer Society.
