Martha “Marty” A. Hart, nee Poe, age 89, of Hickory Hills, passed away peacefully at home on April 10, 2022. Loving wife of 40 years to the late Larry Hart; Beloved mother to Kathy (Tony) Burridge and Linda (Bob) Plikuhn; Cherished grandma to Kim (Stan), April (Enio), John (Marisa), and Bobby (Sara); Dear GG to Matthew, Cole, Ren, Leah, the late Hayley, Liam, and Cyprian. Marty spent her professional life working for General Motors for many years while also being an active participant in the Illinois Bell Pioneers Club. She lived a full, rich life, as a snowbird and someone who always put others first. Marty took pleasure in making others happy and laughing. She is a kind soul who was loved by and will be missed by many. Visitation will be Monday, April 18, from 3-8 PM at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 S Central, Oak Lawn. Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM on Tuesday, April 19, at Chapel Hill Gardens Funeral Home, where she will be laid to rest immediately following the Funeral Service.
