I met Millie, as she asked to be called, in the 60's when she visited my Mom and my family in Ocean Springs, MS.  She came with my Grandmother Grace Appel and her children, Michele, Susie and David.  She was a very neat lady and I enjoyed the short visit that we had with her.  As a matter of fact, when my Aunt Michele was here in March, I asked about Millie.  What a long, full life she was blessed with.  I will keep your family in my prayers.

Millie was a dear friend of our family....Grace and Mickey Appel, Michele, Susan , and David. As children, we remember visits to her home... She'd let us look at all the things she had collected. I still can see her drive up to our house in Oak Lawn,Il with her Citroen! She was a beautiful person. RIP, Millie....

I knew Mildred my whole life. She and my mother Grace met when they were 6 years old. She was a marvelous woman that loved life. She was very giving of herself.  She will be missed.

Condolences to the family of Mildred Amanda Ritter. I am writing the first book from the American point of view about rotunda panoramas.Charles Henry Ritter was a panorama artist in Chicago. I have  info to share.

It was a pleasure to have met Mildred.  I always enjoyed seeing her reaction to any fix-ups or painting changes that had been done to her Anna Maria condo in her absence.  I regret she wasn't able to see the latest improvements before she passed.  And I've never met anyone quite so fond of perusing the aisles of every thrift shop she could manage to get to in Bradenton during her visits there.  Her presence will be missed, by me and by her neighbors at Westbay Cove.

Dale and all, I never knew Mildred's last name, so this took me by surprise. All I have known about her is how often and lovingly Dale talked about her. I'm sure she will be missed by many.

What a wonderfullife for a warm and generous lady! She was ahead of her time and lived a great life - she will be missed. Love Beverly Leeah and Sheralyn Wright.
