Phillip L Rose Sr.

Phillip L. Rose, Sr., 67 years young.  Beloved partner & best friend of Maryann Drake for 18 years, passed away peacefully following a long illness.  Father of Phillip Jr. (fiancée, Christina Wooten), stepfather to Elizabeth Drake & Victoria (Samuel) Aburto. “Pops” to Samy & Leo Aburto.  Dear brother  of Chesley Van (Marga),, Robert Earl (dear friend, Teresa Browning), George (Barbara), Sara Marie (Ed) McCulloch, the late Lucy Ann (the late Edward) Quinlan, stepbrother of Arbie (Sue), Sandy & the late Robert (Glenda) Hendricks.  Loving son of the late Chesley & Evelyn Rose and Step son Ruby C. Rose.  Fond uncle, cousin & friend of many.  Life long member of IBEW Local 9.  Family & friends are asked to gather on Saturday at St. Christina Church, 11005 S. Homan Ave., Chicago for Mass at 11:00 AM. with a memorial visitation from 10:30  AM until time of the Mass.  Interment Private.  In lieu of flowers memorials made to the University of Chicago Medical Comprehensive Cancer Center, 5841 S. Maryland Ave., Chicago IL 60637 would be appreciated.
