Richard L. Johnson, age 79, of Lemont, Illinois passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022. Richard was a long time resident of Orland Park and resident since 2016 of Lemont, IL. Beloved husband of the late Karen J. nee Hutton; loving son of the late Mary nee Yelverton and Late Morris E. Johnson; dear brother of Ronald E. (late Phyllis) and late John T. (Edna) Johnson; Fond son-in-law of Edna and late Lloyd Hutton and brother-in-law of Joyce Mezewich and Marilyn (Carl) Wright; dear uncle of many nieces and nephews; great friend to many.
A visitation for Richard will be held Friday, August 26, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 South Central Ave, Oak Lawn, IL 60453. Funeral Mass Friday 12 p.m. at St. Mary Church Mokena, IL. Entombment to follow at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery, 11333 South Central Ave, Oak Lawn, IL 60453. In lieu of flowers donations to Comer Children's Hospital would be appreciated.
