

Robert was predeceased by his father, Michael Bagdonas, and his grandparents, Robert and Lucille Peters, and John and Ann Bagdonas. Cousin Gilbert Peters, Jr. (Gibby).
Robert is survived by his “special heart” mother, Julia Bagdonas; his forever sister, Catherine (Rob) Kahl; His “Whole World, Whole Life” nieces Julianne and Johanna Whitcher. Uncle Gilbert Peters (cousins Jason and Jacob Peters) and Uncle Trent (Kellee) Reese (cousins Kayla Lloyd and Kyle Reese).
Robert was a proud and accomplished Special Olympics athlete, always going for the Gold in figure skating, bowling, golf, and swimming. When not competing, you could find Robert counting down the days until his next cruise and planning Disney days with family.
A celebration of life will be held at Chapel Hill Gardens South 11333 S. Central Ave, Oak Lawn from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. Private interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery to follow.
We ask that you honor his memory at his celebration of life by wearing your favorite team sports apparel. A devoted Bears and Cubs fan, Robert faithfully cheered on his teams with a true love for the game and would smile knowing his friends and family are sharing in his joy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in honor of Robert to support Fantastic Friends, a community social and activity group for adults with disabilities in The Villages, Florida, founded by Robert and his mother, Julia.
