We are Bob's neighbors at 9624 S Kilbourn, we were so sad to learn of his passing.
Bob was so excited to tell us about his vacation to visit his son.
Bob also had such a love for God' s animals.
we spoke of birds and of his cats he loved to feed.
He was very fond of helping them.
He is now in God's hands.
We are so happy that we had the pleasure of knowing such a fine man.
Our sympathies to his family.

Jim,
Sympathies on the loss of your brother Bob. I saw your posted memorial and then I knew it was your family. I never knew Bob but now I see where you get your interests as it rekindled my memory during those days we moved around. My heartfelt thoughts are with you on your loss.

To Andy,
When Bob and Sue got married I visited them a number of times. They were very happy and fun to be with. Bob got me interested in sport cars, sport car racing and jazz. I saw him race a number of times. I loved it. He took good care of his cars and was a good driver. Because of my brothers influence at that time my first car was a Alfa Romeo Spider and my first album was a jazz recording of Thelonious Monk (5 by Monk by 5). Still to this day jazz is my choice in music. Andy, if you like I would like to keep in contact with you.
Love and God Bless your dad, mom and you. I am sorry for your loss. Your family will always be in my prayers. --Uncle Jim

Bobby was always so kind to me when I was a kid growing up in Chicago. Whenever we visited he was always sure to make all of us welcome and he never failed to show us his latest racing car. I loved it.
Most recently when my dad passed (Joseph N Krych)., Bobby was there to pay respects and tell stories. I will miss him
Love to all.

Years ago (I was about 14) Bobby was going to race at some track in either Wisconsin or Illinois. As he was leaving for the race I said break a leg. Bobby turned around and said no, that’s what you say before you go on stage. Just say good luck. Andy you are lucky to have a father that loved you. And we are all lucky he was in our family.

For the past couple of years, about one week before Labor Day, I would get an email from Bob inviting us to watch him race at Elkhart Lake, WI with his Porche club. My niece Erin and I went a couple of times and took photos of Bob at 116 MPH. It was a blast to see him driving that track.

He would also send interesting jokes every once in a while.

His love for and the pride he demonstrated for Andy were amazing.
