

Bob was born on June 11,1933 to Boleslaw and Katherine Wlascinski. He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Helen (George), Bessie (Ray), Joseph (Lavergne) and Edmund (Irene). Bob is survived by his wife Madeleine, children Robert, Jr. (Rita), Michelle (Steve) and Suzanne; his grandchildren Ethan, Madelyn, Mary Kathryn, Robert III, Jonathan and Loren as well as great-grandchildren; his brother Raymond (Cynthia) and his furbaby Faith. Bob was also an Uncle and Great Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
After serving in the United States Coast Guard, Bob worked as a machinist, the head of maintenance and in sales until he retired. Bob enjoyed spending his time volunteering in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary as a Vessel Examiner, maintaining his yard, home and car and watching old war movies. Bob was known for his sense of humor, practical jokes and his love of sharing stories from the past. A private service will be held for the immediate family.
On June 11th, 2023 from 10:00am to 2:00pm, a Celebration of Life will be held on Bob's 90th Birthday at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 South Central Avenue, Oak Lawn, Illinois 60453.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pet Profile Rescue in Homer Glen.
