I was a member of Rogers Basement from the very beginning. Roger really cared about us and we really cared about him. It's hard to think that he's gone now and we miss him so much. Rest in peace Roger. You deserve it.

Roger
Was a kind hearted, fun loving and very inclusive person. We shared a love for film and for collecting that allowed us to form a bond despite being in different parts of the world. 
I will never forget the countless hours we shared on live streams  and on private hangouts having a laugh and talking all things film. You never judged, you always wore a smile on your face  and made others feel important. 

Roger you will be missed, take care and thankyou for your friendship. Until we meet again…

To have known Roger for as long as I have is an absolute privilege and something to strive to emulate with others. In the attached image is a group of people who are from different walks of life, different ages of their life and no real hierarchy in regards to...anything. What we all had in common was a love for film, and NOBODY was the embodiment of being a "film fan" quite like Roger. He brought a life to something that you may not have had knowledge of, or perhaps even an interest in...but when he would pour out his very real emotions on why he enjoyed something, you would think internally and wonder if maybe you were watching movies wrong. In a space filled with "drama" - Roger always tried to circumvent that in efforts to just share a laugh, most times with movies as the backdrop. This photo is merely the essence of what it was like to stream with Roger: EVERY person having a good time, nobody being above a laugh, and seconds turning into hours with a blink of an eye.

I am lucky enough to have spent time with Roger in person, after something of a health scare for him a few years back. It wasn't the most optimal of "first meetings" but he still managed to be of good spirits, (even requesting a snuck-in bag of skittles) and provided the energy needed for a CITY's morale. (This was when he was feeling terrible, mind you.)

When I think of what being a "film fan" on the internet is, Roger is my *sole* basis for comparison. No matter what else was happening in our imperfect world; Roger somehow embodied what the feeling we have & endlessly chase when watching films. His excitement was contagious.

Thanks Roger (my youtube Dad) for being a part of my life for as long as you were. I can only HOPE to have people synonymously associate a good feeling tied to an activity the way I link you to watching & discussing films.

I am honored to have spent so much time with Roger, and I truly mourn those who haven't or will not share that experience. We lost a good one.

Roger was a nice guy.  He was nice to my Parents, me and to rest of my family.  He will be missed by all    I also remember the Starbucks Strawberry Frappuccino that he liked,
