

Born on October 13, 1936, in Chicago, Illinois, Ronald was a proud graduate of IBEW Local 134. He married the love of his life, Annette Novinson, on April 2, 1960, and the couple shared 64 wonderful years together. Ronald worked as an electrician for O'Brian and Goldberg Electric and was a dedicated member of IBEW Local 134 for 60 years.
In addition to his professional achievements, Ronald had a deep passion for photography and cars. His adventurous spirit led him to serve in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1962, stationed in France.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Annette; his daughter, Sharon (Bob) Welter; grandchildren Brian (Melissa) Welter, Craig (Anna) Welter, and Kathryn Welter; and great-grandchildren Danica, Lenore, Abigail, and Jedi. Ronald was preceded in death by his brother William, brothers Ernest (the late Rose) and William; sister Mary (the late Ed) Lox, and his sister Betty (the late Chuck) Lapp.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 South Central Avenue, Oak Lawn, Illinois. A brief entombment service will follow from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Ronald's memory.
