Rosemary C Thompson

Rosemary Thompson, 96, of Bridgeview, Illinois, passed away on June 1st, 2025. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 22, 1928. She was married to the late James D. Thompson for 30 wonderful years. Rosemary worked in clerical services for the Village of Bridgeview and was known for her kind spirit and strong work ethic. She had a lifelong passion for butterflies and a love of reading. She was survived by her children: Dawn (Paul) LeGrand, Tracy (Scott) Pavlat, and Guy Thompson; grandmother to: Stacy (Jeffrey) Vandenburg, Kareena (Sean) Murphy, Jason Pavlat, Sydney (David) Szumski, Kyle (Jamie) LeGrand, Courtney Wischer, Shelby Thompson, Bernice (Bin) Winn, Whitney Walley; great grandmother to 21 great grandchildren, and great great-grandmother to 2 great great grandchildren; loving sister to Constance Allen; loving aunt to Jeffrey (Lisa) Allen, Kimberly Massey, and the Busam Family. She was preceded in death by Cory LeGrand and Michael Koetz.

A burial for Rosemary will be held Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery, 11333 Central avenue, Oak Lawn, Illinois 60453.
