Beautiful Memories = Beautiful Marriage - Beautiful Life.                                                                                                                                                                              Victor " Vic " Walter Kaminskas. No man has left this world more loved, respected, and appreciated. He will be truly missed.         February  10th 1987 I married the love of my life, and I was the love of his life. This was the best decision I ever made. We began this wonderful adventure as husband and wife in the Bahamas, then Vegas. Later went to all the family reunions, from California, Saint Louis, South Bend Indiana, Washington DC Virginia Marylin. Windsor Ct Hartford. We took weekend road trips, Street fairs, Went to the white house President  Obama was still in office and our neighbor in Hyde Park where we lived in a Condo. We visit the African American Museum in DC. We went to concerts some were on the lawns. The best concert my favorite musician Leonard Cohen tickets were $300 dollars, that was my husband, Enjoyed immensely so ironic this was his last concert before he passed,  and our last concert together. When the weather was bad we stayed in order from restaurants watched movies or read to each other. We spent so much time just enjoying each others company and talking about everything. Nothing was left unsaid,  and he put his arms around me said I love you babe kissed the back of my neck, went to sleep woke up in his heavenly father's bed.  Death smiles at us all we smile back, as children of God this is not the END                                    

Tony Williams, Vic was a good man and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. " Gone too soon! "

Alisa, you were his beauty pageant daughter, He loved,  helping you with your magic tricks your talent for the Miss Illinois Pageant, you were first runner-up. he was so proud of you. Vic so many interesting conversations. the one that comes to mind my aunt just a few weeks from her 100 hundred birthday, you said I would probably live a lot longer than you, and where ever you were you would wait for me, wait in peace. As I transition and we reconnect the Universe will shimmer and glow because that is not the end. I will always love my stepfather! He was a great man and had a beautiful spirit. He loved my mother to the moon and back, and she loved him the same. They were the Obamas in my life! Educated caring, and classy! Tony Duncan, Hi Chris I read your powerful, and loving salutation to your husband Victor. I want you to know I think of you often. You are a strong woman Chris and I love you.

Memories of my brother:

So many here are several:

Playing board games.  One of our favorites was CLUE.(This was before computers so sometimes brother and sister had to play together)

Vacations in Wisconsin:  swimming and hiking in the woods

We both thought it was soooo great to get an ice cold Coke in a bottle from the vending machine. 

When Vic did something bad to me he would take me to the Secret place and beg me not to tell our dad. I usually didn't tell.


Going on the zipper ride in Indiana Beach.  The ride operator told us to make sure we had nothing loose in our pockets. Well,,,,,, Vic did so when we went upside down all his change was falling out of his pockets. We were laughing our heads off.

We used to play the Johnny Carson Show (you youngsters might not know what I am talking  about. Who's Johnny Carson?) He was Johnny Carson and I was all of the guests.

So, Vic get the Clue Board set up and put on your Hiking shoes cause I will see you soon.

It is such a humbling experience when you meet someone so special and amazing you know this is the man for you. Vic was that man loving selfless a good honorable man. He was generous accepting warm and sensitive. We lived loved and became one making our marriage strong and resilient. I will always miss these attributes, and I will never get over his absent, Vic my husband always the best of the best, and the best decision I ever made the love of my life. My deepest sympathies.  Victor was such a great friend.  The work we did together was secondary to our friendship.  He brightened each day, and I certainly miss him.

Chris, it was such a blessing to hear that you & Vic would read the bible together. When Irene told me that I just thanked God. That is the hope that Christ gave us that though we be dead we shall live again with Him in glory. Gods word does not return void and through his word we shall see Vic again! Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
