Adeline M. Kankovsky, at rest March 13, 2013, beloved wife of the late Charles Kankovsky to whom she was married 52 years. Born and raised in Cicero, Adeline enjoyed special times with her family, painting and sewing. Daughter of the late Frank and Mary, nee Briski, Soukup. Adeline was preceded in death by all of her siblings: Helen (Al) Breska, Camille (Earl) Gerke, Lorayne (Dick) Konopasek, Albert (Bessie) Soukup, Frank (Clara) Soukup, James Soukup and George (Blanche) Soukup; cherished aunt to LaVerne (late Frank) Kulis, Al Jr. (Joanne) Soukup, late Franklyn Soukup, Janet (Jim) Schar and Frank (Linda) Soukup; fond aunt to many great-nieces and great-nephews; treasured Godmother of Janet Schar. Adeline was admired for her beautiful smile and personality by her family, friends, residents and staff of Emeritus at Burr Ridge. She also had a successful career as treasurer of Olympic Savings and Loan in Cicero.
