Ann T. Lucchesi

Ann T. Lucchesi nee Faraone, 88, passed May 8, 2013; beloved wife of 66 years to Reno; loving mother of John (Barb), James (Lenice), Anthony (Linda) and Rena; cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Brian), Jamie, Jason (Jamie), Jeffrey, Michael, Nicole (Jeff), Daniel, Christie, and Nicholas; treasured great-grandmother of Barrett, Jasyn, Samuel, Brady, Gavin, Grace, Claire; extended family to Mark, Anne Marie, Kevin and Marc Dubler. Ann held membership, was a social chairperson and was the Treasurer, Vice President and President of Ladies Guild of St. Simeon; she was a proud Denmother. Ann was also the treasurer of Little League of Bellwood; President of Tour Committee for 10 years at St. John Chrysostom in Bellwood; volunteer at Bronco Thrift Shop in Maywood for 14 years; President of Sunrise Assisted Living in Lombard. Ann enjoyed teaching many people to knit, crochet, play card games, Sudoku and Rummikub. She loved it all and did it her way. Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Rocco and Carmella Faraone; her sister Rose (Joseph) Pastorek; her half sister Molly Hess; her step-brother Peter (Frances) Costello, and her brother-in-law Stanley Lucchesi. Visitation at Chapel Hill Gardens West, 17W201 Roosevelt Rd., Oakbrook Terrace, Monday May 13, 3-9pm. Prayers will take place on Tuesday May 14, 9:15am at the Funeral Home and lead to St. Pius Catholic Church, 1025 E Madison St Lombard, for 10 am Mass, followed by procession to Queen of Heaven.
