Thinking of you today Aunt Bozana. I wrote February 15th on something at work today and remembered last year when Makenna was due on your birthday and how cool we both thought that was. I miss you every day.

Bill, my most sincere sympathies go out to you, your children and your family. If there was something I could do to ease your pain, I would definitely do it. Absolute heartbreak...

What a luminous, whimsical, magnetic force of nature...You just wanted to be near her, her laugh...she had the sweetest laugh...

Among all the wonderful times we got to share over the years, one in particular lives on with such vibrancy... 

Every time I sit down to make a piece of jewelry I have thought of her (& always will) our chit chat, our laughs, our philosophizing, our musings about life... Drinking our hot tea & playing among a sea of shiny beads, moving them around & happily stringing away the afternoon. We were 'Bella Union' &  a beautiful union it was. I'm so humble & grateful.

What a tragic loss.  My condolences go out to William, her children, and her family.  I knew her in high school and she has always had a warm place in my heart.  The beautiful memories of her will let her live in our hearts and minds forever.

I will miss my Aunt Bozana dearly. She has taught me so much. I will never forget when I came to Chicago and when I lived with my grandfather Bosko & grandmother Matilda when my aunt Bozana and uncle bill danced kolo in the hallway that moment I will never forget.  She was truly a gentle soul and her energy was radiant. I love you Tetka Bozana and may your spirit surround us all. I will always remember your smile and your warm and loving hugs. When we learned of her illness and the extreme seriousness of it, we were so saddened that God would let this happen.
