Bruce Dankers, 64, of Elk Grove Village and formerly of Lombard died unexpectedly on Sunday, September 4, 2016. He was the devoted husband of 43 years to Carole (nee Pomon); loving Dad to Jennifer Dankers (John Bowes) and Lindsay Lester and proud Papa and buddy of Damian Lester. Bruce’s final gift was being a cornea and tissue donor. He also regularly donated blood, plasma, and platelets.
