Carol M. Magura, age 85, of Glen Ellyn, Illinois passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Cliff Bond and the late Larry Magura. Loving mother of Cliff (Kelly) Bond, Susan Berry, and Kathryn (John Jr.) Moorshead. Cherished grandmother of Ryan (Katie) Berry, Joshua Berry, Joseph Berry, Jessica Moorshead, and Donovan Bond. Great grandmother of Layla and Liam Berry. Carol was retired following a decades long career at High School District 88 most recently as the executive assistant to the Superintendent. Prior to her career with District 88, Carol worked many years in the Principal's office at School District 45 and as secretary for a handful of local Churches. Widowed at 36 years of age, she became a single parent, yet managed to provide a stable and loving environment for her three children.
A visitation for Carol will be held Friday, November 17 from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Services 11:00 AM at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17w201 Roosevelt Road, Oakbrook Terrace. Burial to follow at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery.
