Edward L. Stack, 73, of Aurora, Illinois, passed away after a long battle with kidney disease on April 29, 2014, at Loyola Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. He was born April 21, 1941, in Mishawaka, Indiana, the son of Edward and Frieda “Pastrick” Stack. Ed is survived by a daughter, Tracy, and a sister, Arline Gambla. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial mass will be held on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 701 S. Eola Rd., Aurora, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The National Kidney Foundation or the charity of the donor’s choice.
