Elizabeth Schwab (nee Schnabel), born June 7, 1931, Krndija, Yugoslavia, passed from this life on July 10, 2022, Lombard, Illinois. Beloved wife of the late Adam Schwab; loving mother of the late Helene Schwab Walczak, Anne Schwab and Dorothy (Robert) Petrin; cherished grandmother of Elmer (Kelly), Michael (Kelly), Lana Walczak, David (Diolisa) and Carly Petrin; proud great grandmother of Sophia, Duncan and Dylan; dearest sister of the late Theresia (Bernie) Karacsonyi; special aunt of Ray (Noelle) Karacsonyi, Carol (Brian) Ofenloch and Christine (Bob) Kruse; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews and friend of many.
A visitation will be held Saturday, August 6,2022 from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Chapel Hill Gardens West, 17W201 E Roosevelt Rd, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181. Memorial service to follow at 4:00 pm. Reception to take place afterwards by invitation only.
