Mr. Richard was so passionate in everything he did.  Truly dedicated and extremely hard working but at the same time such a giving and regular everyday person even though he had built such a successful company.  Truly an inspiration that you can be extremely talented, successful, and so giving but yet relate to everyone on a personal level.  I will not forget Mr. Richard and the Richard family for their caring and compassion displayed each and everyday.  Truly blessed to have known Mr. Richard.

We are  so sorry to hear of Mr. Richard's passing  and we want to express our most sincere sympathies to you and the family during this difficult time from the FedEx team. Mr. Richard  was a highly valuable and respected man, and the effects of his passing are already being felt.

To David and the Richard family,so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr Richard.He was so important and influential to me in my high school and college years.Never was there a time that I couldn't count on a holiday or summer job from The Fruitville Yield or Now Foods.Furthermore,working for him was a combination of educational(He would explain to us the benefits of items we were filling into containers),comical(remembering his energy and enthusiasm running through out the warehouse) and sporting(he had the basketball hoop set up in the warehouse and would join us in games).Often tell people that those summer jobs helped me become a successful business man--THANK YOU MR RICHARD FOR ALL THAT YOU DID FOR ME-Kevin Keever
