Emiko B. Kooi, age 69, passed away on March 8, 2016. Loving mother of Kenneth Kooi and Karen (Salvatore) Abbinanti; Caring grandmother of Kyle Anthony Kooi, Anthony Abbinanti, and Anna Abbinanti; Cherished sister of Akinori Bando. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Anthony Martin Kooi, and her sister Satomi Bando. Emiko’s energy and kindness has touched many, many people, including some who had not even had the pleasure to meet her. Above all, she loved to share her time with family and friends. Emiko was loved by and will be missed by many. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Robert H.
