I was so sorry to hear about Ernie's passing. I had been selling Ernie his Cadillac's for the last 14 years ....what a wonderful man!
I'd often sit with him and his lifelong companion Margaret for chats about life. He was one of my favorite characters, always humble and kind.... A true gentleman! Ernie you will be dearly missed. My condolences to family and friends.... especially Margaret his companion.

When I was a girl I was good friends with Gale & her family. Mr Karamas always teased me and called me babs which I truly disliked but remember with fondness. 🙂 I also remember him trying to get me to sing and that's how I learned the song Moon Over Naples and can sing it to this day.
It was funny but today I thought of you Gale and wondered how you are and saw your father's obituary. I'm most sorry for your loss and hope you all are doing well.

I have fond memories of Ernie. He was good to all, especially my aunt Margaret. When I was a kid we enjoyed visiting Ernie's lake house in Michigan. Rest in heaven! Xoxo
