Ervin W. Haack was born in Chicago, IL on 02/04/1932. He graduated from Washburn Trade School, Chicago in 1950. Erv served in the United States Army from 1952 to 1955. He was employed at Rockwell International for 44 years and retired as a Senior Quality Control Engineer in 1996.
He and his wife, Judith (nee Sharie), lived in Chicago, IL., Cedar Rapids, IA., and Aurora, IL. They retired to Wisconsin where they spent many years on Lake Arrowhead, Nekoosa, WI. Enjoying activities and traveling with friends from the area. They also had a home in Mesa, AZ., where they would spend six months each year as snowbirds with friends. Erv was an avid golfer and fisherman. He enjoyed many sports and activities, especially card games of any kind.
Erv is survived by his wife, Judy, one daughter, Rosemary Haack of Los Angeles, CA., two stepsons, Mark (Alissa nee Berresse) Weeks of North Aurora, IL., and Scott (Marie) Weeks of CO. He is also survived by seven grandchildren Luke, Trevor, Tyler, Bailey, Alison, Everett, and Asher. As well as two sisters Eileen Nelson and Bernice Churby and brother-in-law Frank Churby. Erv has several nieces and nephews who knew him as "Corky".
Erv was preceded in death by three sisters and brothers-in-law, Florence Howard Bowe, Loraine and Bruno Drewniak, Anna Marie and Robert Puckett and brother-in-law Stanton Nelson. As well as two brothers Lenard and William Haack.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 10am until the time of Service at 1pm at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home (17W201 Roosevelt Rd. Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181). Interment Private. For more info call 630-941-5860.
