Evangeline Fronda

She graduated high school at Far Eastern University Girls High and college with B.S. in Medical Technology from Philippine Women’s University in the Philippines. She immigrated to the United States in 1980 and worked as Medical Technologist at the University of Chicago Hospital and Clinics, Mercy Hospital (Chicago), and Wisconsin Diagnostic Laboratory.

She is survived by her husband Dr. Gerardo “Gerry” Fronda, son Jason Fronda (wife Deirdre McCormick), and daughter Dr. Jana (Fronda) Richardson (husband Steve Richardson). Also surviving are her sisters Julita, Virginia, Henedina, Marina, Remy, Rosie and brothers Gilbert and Arturo. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Father Henry.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 3rd, 2021 at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17W201 Roosevelt Road, Oakbrook Terrace, from 3-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 4th, 2021 at Visitation Catholic Church, 779 S York Street, Elmhurst, at 10am. Interment will take immediately following Mass at Bronswood Cemetery, 3805 Madison Street, Oak Brook, at 11:15am. Family and friends are invited to attend a lunch immediately after the interment at Seasons 52, 3 Oakbrook Center, Oak Brook, IL 60523.
