Dear Helena, George and Anita,
Hermann was a great Gentleman and I had the pleasure of knowing him and working with him for a long time. We, the Bosch family, will miss him. Our thoughts are with you on this sad occasion.

Hermann hired me when I left college teaching in 1973. He had known my father from the Mercedes-Benz club and thought I would only stay at Bosch for a few years, but that turned into 17 years. I had the pleasure of talking with him in the years after he left the Service Department and really enjoyed his stories of the early days in Germany. My condolences to the family.

I'm so sorry to hear of Hermann's passing.  Please accept my sincere condolences.  It seems not that long ago, when he accepted me, as a snot-nosed kid right out of high scool, to work for him.  Of course, he was always "Mr. Kumpf".  I got quite the education from Hermann.  He will be missed.

To the family of Hermann Kumpf, I am so sorry for your loss. My heart truly goes out to your family. Find solace in the fact that our Heavenly Father knows what you are going through.  He is “greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.” (1 John 3:20) Continue to rely on Him for strength during this difficult time.

My condolences to the Kumpf family.  I was in DuPage County Rehab Center with him last month & had some nice conversations with him.  I knew him from working at Bosch also.
