Hooshang Yadullah Rassam, 86, passed away at home on August 12, 2024 surrounded by his family. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 55 years Minoo; Beloved father to Raha (Ricardo), Mashhood (Karen), and Shawn (Rebecca); Cherished grandfather (Baba) to Allison, Strauss, Elahe, Dylan, Killian and Charlie. Loved by his brothers, sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
Born in Abadan Iran, Hooshang, moved to the United States at the age of 18, earned his MBA and settled in the suburbs of Chicago where he and Minoo raised their children, made wonderful memories and built long lasting friendships.
A visitation for Hooshang will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17w201 Roosevelt Road, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181, followed by a burial.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to The Alzheimer’s Association.
