Jacqualynn M. Musci

Jacqualynn M. Musci, age 85, passed away on February 25, 2026. Loving wife of late Joseph P. Musci; Beloved mother of Anthony Musci, Anna Musci, John (Frances) Musci, Michael Musci, and Michele (Patrick) Walsh; Cherished grandmother of Marc, Nicole, David, Henry, Mary, Lucas, Arianna, and the late John; Dear aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Jacqualynn was preceded in death by her parents, Dominic and Maria Messina.

Jackie was “Ma” to all who crossed her threshold at Rustling Oaks, the Orland Park home she loved and made an idyllic woodland haven for family, friends, and a sundry of delightful critters. Doors were always open to a huge hug, a “big stick”, a cozy den filled with good literature and music, belly-splitting laughter, nonstop learning, and a delicious bowl of spaghetti as she cared for and nurtured all in her orbit. Guided by great interest and admiration in her husband’s (her hero’s) work as a physician, Jackie went back to school to earn a degree in Medical Records Management and worked at Hinsdale Hospital and St. Francis Hospital in Blue Island, Illinois until she retired. Her genuine spirit and profound love touched everyone—family, friends, and colleagues—leaving lasting memories as she moved boldly through life, brought us along for a wonderful journey, and showed us all how to fly.

Visitation will be from 10 AM – 1 PM on Saturday, March 7, at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17w201 Roosevelt Rd, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181, where a 1 PM Funeral Service will follow. Entombment to take place immediately after at Chapel Hill Gardens West Mausoleum.
