James Kastner, age 73, passed away on September 7, 2026. Loving husband of over 50 years to Sue Kastner; Beloved father to the late Jeremy Michael Kastner; Cherished stepbrother to Margaret Smith; Dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many. James was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lillian Kastner Sr, stepmother, Florence Kastner, and brother, Joseph (Patrice) Kastner Jr.
Memorial Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Tuesday, September 22, at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17w201 Roosevelt Rd, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181, where a Memorial Service will take place at 6 PM. Inurnment will take place privately at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery.
