Jane was born in Oak Park, Illinois on June 1st, 1929. She graduated from Proviso East High School and received her bachelor of Arts in Applied Christian Studies from Trinity College. On June 26, 1951 she married the late Jack Miller Reid and they were married for 16 years. She was a member Charter Christian Church of Villa Park; she had a passion for helping women and others that were struggling in life to help make a better life for them. She was survived by her sons: Douglas Alan Reid and John Randolph Reid; beloved grandmother to Christina (Reid) Bocox.
A visitation for Jane will be held Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17w201 Roosevelt Road, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181, followed by a chapel service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
