On behalf of my siblings, i'd like to convey our sincerest sympathy and condolences to the family, siblings and other relatives ...

Dear Tonia & Children:
Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of your dear husband and father Johnny. We were shocked to receive the sad news of his passing after having spent a happy holiday together with the two of you in California only a few weeks ago. It was even sader, because we have lost two other dear cousins, Fely and Anthony, only recently.
Johnny was such a gentle man and kind person. We have so many fond memories of your visit here three years ago when we drove together to the Canadian Rocky Mountains, Jasper and Banff National Park, Lake Louise and Calgary. Johnny was always sitting in the passenger seat beside the driver of the van (Arnim), so we called him "the co-pilot", but sometimes the co-pilot fell asleep! And when we were in Lake Louise, we lost Johnny, but we found him soon. He had just decided to walk in another direction without telling us. The other "passengers" during that trip were Anthony and Gloria, Sonny and Fely, and Anita, and we had a lot of fun together!
When we were together in California just a few weeks ago, we went to Lake Tahoe and stayed at a cabin for a couple of days. Our generous hosts were Sonny and Fely de la Rosa, and we were joined by more cousins from Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Johnny enjoyed their company and played Mahjong with some of them. When it was his bedtime, he went back and forth quite a few times between his bedroom and the bathroom which was quite entertaining for the rest of us who were watching the Republican National Convention on TV, because every time Johnny came out, he was wearing something different, so it reminded us of the halftime show of the Super Bowl!
Johnny was always wearing his baseball cap with the logo of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He was very proud to be a longtime employee of that organization.
So long, Johnny! We will miss you. Rest in Peace.

One of our finest Uncle and everyone's favorite Uncle has finally left his temporary life on earth.  He is on to his next adventure.  So long,  Uncle John,  you will be missed but will always be in our hearts.  We love you!

Mary Ann - My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.  May God provide peace and strength to help you through.

Hi Uncle John. We will miss you. I am glad that you and Auntie Tonia came to visit here in California in July. Who would have thought that that would be our last time to see you. We love you, Uncle. You are a very dear cousin to my mom and she has nothing but fond memories of you.

When I called my mom in the Philippines to let her know of Manong John's passing she cried and could Not believe that he's gone, he was also a big fixture and a very active member of our Nueva Vizcaya Association of Chicago.

Rest in peace Mr.Panganiban!  Thx for always making me feel part of your family.  You leave behind a great family, I'm so grateful to have the pleasure of growing up with!

I will miss you so much Uncle John. You were like a father to my sisters and I when my Dad passed away. You have always been kind and loving to us. You advised us when we needed a father figure to turn to. I will miss our visits together and listening to music with you and how you enjoyed listening to Auntie Tonia singing on the CD that you had. I will miss you singing to the songs of Perry Como, Andy Williams, and the Filipino songs you sang to me while we were conversing. Rest in peace and sing and dance with all our relatives who are with you! I will always cherish the memories. I love you dear uncle.

I'm so glad I was able to see Uncle John this past March when I visited Illinois with my family. Even my husband Eric felt his loving kindness after meeting him for the first time and my kids thought he was a "cute Lolo" because he truly is :) I love you Uncle John .. You're such a kind-hearted soul. Rest peacefully always and say hello to my Dad for me in heaven <3

I am at a loss for words.... I'm sure he and my mom are having conversations in heaven right now...  I will miss you John... My thoughts and prayers are with the the entire family...
