To Jeanette and family, my deepest condolences to all on your loss of Ken. Looking at the pictures reminded me what an easy smile Ken had and coupled with his sense of humor he could always make me smile & laugh ... and on a few occasions, duck. My love to you and the family.

Jeanette and family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss of Ken. I remember him as a soccer dad, my oldest son's chemistry teacher and for his fabulously dry wit. Sending love and prayers to you and your family.

I taught chemistry alongside Ken, and my daughter was a student of his. I loved teaching with Ken. He was smart, fun, and interesting, and helpful to other teachers. His students enjoyed learning chemistry. He was known for his dry, sarcastic, witty sense of humor, which he used to keep students and fellow teachers, me included, in line with a smile. I wish all the Wernerts well.
