Kenneth B. Wolmer, 81, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2015, with his three children by his side. Cherished father of Kristopher (Jenny) Wolmer, Wendi Wolmer and Tara (Justin) Bond; Proud grandfather of Sebastian, Ramona and Elliette Bond; Ex-husband of Mary Ellen Wolmer. Ken lived a long and colorful life as a devoted father, grandfather, Swede, eternal optimist, Christian, veteran, aviator, Republican, patriot, entrepreneur, dreamer, poet, philosopher, adventurer, individualist, activist and songbird. A visitation will be held at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17w201 Roosevelt Road, Oakbrook Terrace, Thursday, August 20th, from 5-9 PM.
