Leonard Szczesny, 91, of Villa Park, passed away June 1, 2016. Beloved husband of Ruth, nee Simcek; Loving father of Jim (Cyndi) and Judith (Daniel) McClughen; Cherished grandfather of Aaron Szczesny, CarrieAnn Szczesny, Emilie (Bo) Totten, Daniel (Marie) McClughen, Mark (Paula) McClughen, and Zachary McClughen; Adored great grandfather of Tex Totten and Samantha McClughen; Brother of Marion (the late Theodore) Marcis, Evelyn (the late Allon) MacAlister and the late Esther (James) Marten; Uncle of many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17w201 Roosevelt Road, Oakbrook Terrace, Saturday, June 4, 2016, from 10-12 PM, with a service to follow. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery.
