Linda Lou Kieft

Linda L. Kieft, age 73, of St. Charles, IL, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, at home on May 15, 2021. She was born December 3, 1947 in Wheaton, IL to her loving parents, Albert and Irene Fank (née Borter).

Linda was married to her husband, Jere (Gerald), for 53 years. Their devotion to each other was inspiring. Linda was a loving wife and mother who will be remembered as caring, friendly, and outgoing. Her often times surprisingly adventurous spirit and love of sewing provide her loved ones with fond and heartwarming memories. Her great sense of humor and positive attitude never faded despite her long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Ken Fank. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Kieft; children, Gerald Kieft II, and Dawn Kieft; siblings, Jim Fank, and Pam (Ed) Gehrig; grandson, Erik Kieft, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday September 25, 2021 beginning at 11:00AM at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home & Cemetery, 17W 201 Roosevelt Road, Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois 630-941-5860. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery.
