Linda Kathleen Williams Sack of La Grange Park died on July 20, 2019, with her family present.

Linda was born on February 15, 1950 in Peoria, Illinois, to George and Magalean (Mikrut) Williams. She was raised in Peoria, the middle of three children, and she graduated from Limestone Community High School in 1967. After high school, Linda went on to graduate from Illinois State University. After briefly teaching Spanish in Quincy, IL, Linda moved to the Chicago-area. It was there that she met Bill Sack and the two were married in Chicago in 1978. Linda worked for the Illinois Railroad Retirement Board, until she left work to raise her son in quiet suburban Western Springs.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, George and Maggie, her husband Bill, her older brother George and younger brother Mike. She is survived by her son, Bill Sack, Jr., her daughter-in-law, Liz, sisters-in-law Maxine Williams, Sue Williams and Carla Hauck.

Graveside services will be Thursday, August 1st at Noon at Chaple Hill Gardens West Cemetery 17W201 Roosevelt Rd, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181 with visitation starting at 10 AM. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Deepest condolences to you and Liz. Your mom was a great lady . Even though I didnt see her that much I still loved her. She was a good sis in law to me many years. She will be missed but hope you take comfort in knowing she no longer suffers and is with your dad and family now. Im sorry I couldnt make it but am keeping you in my prayers through this difficult time. Love and hugs to you.

Bill and Liz, I am so very sorry for your loss. Linda was not only my sister-in-law, she was also a good friend. We had many long talks, laughed a lot and shared stories from days gone by.
