He was born January 18, 1916 in Chicago, Illinois, a son of Gabriel and Mary Scalzitti DiDomenico. He is of the Catholic faith.
Louis was a World War II veteran stationed in Alaska and was in charge of communications. Louis loved to go on fishing trips to Canada and was an avid White Sox fan. He was one of ten children and loved all his family.
Survivors include his nephews Robert A. Giuliani and his wife, Aggie, great grandnephew, Robert A. Giuliani, II; Donald DiDomenico and great grandnephew, Mark DiDomenico.
Louis was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers and sisters, Michael, Dominick, Orlando, Elizabeth, Minadora, Salvatore, Concetta, Giovanni, Giovanna, and a great grandnephew, Michael Giuliani.
There will be no visitation. Services will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 31, 2015.
