Mrs. Margaret Ann Macha, age 74, of Orland Park, Illinois, passed away on December 23, 2020, after losing her battle with COVID-19.

She was born in Chicago, Illinois, on June 24, 1946, a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Jelinek.

In July 1970, Margaret married James Macha who preceded her in death October 1990.

Although she did not earn a college degree, Margaret took many college courses to keep up with the fast-evolving computer age and her interests in flower arranging and interior design. She held a long-time career at an industrial parts manufacturing company, rising to the level of Office Manager and Purchasing Agent. Subsequently, she trained and achieved the role of Medical Billing Specialist in which she worked a few years before her retirement.

In addition to maintaining high standards in her professional life, Margaret enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren in her large back yard. She took much pride and effort in decorating her home as well.

She was survived by her Beloved daughters Sheri Martinez, Susan (Russell) Haas, and Jaymie Macha. Cherished grandmother to Kylah (Iziah) Mazingo, Miranda Macha, Joshua Martinez, Maxwell Haas, Marshall Haas, and Mitchell Haas. Adored sister to Joseph (Betty) Jelinek, and Barbara (Roger) Schulenburg.
