Michael William Robert Ferbrache, age 49, passed away at home Sunday December 27, 2015 of liver failure. He is the beloved son of William Ferbrache of Oakbrook Terrace, and Roberta Bowers Abood. He is survived by his sister Suzanne (Michael) Michas; his step - grandfather Howard Shannon; his aunt and uncle Mary and Michael Bowers; and many cousins throughout the United States. Michael attended Columbia College in Chicago from 1989-1991 to study Radio Broadcasting. He worked on the air and in the control room at WNDB and WHOG in Daytona Beach, FL, then moved to internet radio with Fastband in New Orleans, LA in 1999. He left radio and moved into a restaurant career working at some of the most famous restaurants in New Orleans such as Emeril's, Antoine's, and Delmonico. Memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, April 2, at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17w201 Roosevelt Rd, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181, from 4-7 PM. He will be buried in the Ferbrache family plots in Oakbrook Terrace. The date is still to be determined.
