Michael C. Wang, 53, of Woodridge, IL, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. He was the beloved son of Ping-Ping and the late Kuo-Fuh Wang, the dear brother of Gary (Diana) Wang, and Tina (Jason) Moss, and the loving uncle of Lillian, Ellen, and Gretchen Wang. Michael was the cherished nephew and cousin of several, and a devoted friend of many.
Michael loved the Disney character Tigger. Like Tigger, he cared about people and liked to make them smile, and he was a devoted friend and loved his family.
He was an avid golfer and a hard worker with a love of music and movies. In all that he did, he enriched the lives of those around him.
Michael was funny and liked to make jokes, and he liked to take friends and relatives to see movies in the movie theater.
He was an incredible uncle, and loved to spend time with his nieces. He always let them take over his TV to watch cartoons when they visited. And he always played along when they made him be the antagonist in their fantasy games. His nieces wish they had been able to see more movies with him.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 26, 2022 from 3:00-7:00 P.M at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17w201 Roosevelt Road, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181. A funeral service will take place the next day, Tuesday December 27, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home with interment to follow at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery.
